Dancing With The Stars

WALT: identify the heavenly bodies that we would find in our Solar System.

WALT: understand that arguments are backed up with researched answers.

Find argument for and against and at least 3-4 reasons that support all arguments.

How to Post on someone's blog.

WALT: use G.A.F.E to assist me t comment safely and positively on a  blog post.

G.A.F.E is a term that you use toward others, when you comment on someone's blog. GAFE helps you to structure your blog comment.

First you greet to someone, like... Hi, Kia ora or

Secondly you need to appraise or say something great about the person’s blog like...

Thirdly you are explaining to people on how they could do better on their work, like...

Lastly you must end with a farewell comment.


I think that if you do all four of these things, you will be appreciated at school, home, and even at a different school that you haven't even seen before.

The three boys meet up with the two girls. The girls are excited because Room 4 won the competition to go to Whangārei.

Tim: Kia ora kōtiro mā, e pehea ana kourua?

Sheyahni:   Kia ora Tim, e pai ana ahau.

Waaka: Ae e pai ana ahau, me koutou?
Zach, Tim:            E pai ana mātou.

Tim: Have you heard the news yet?
I rongo koutou ki te pānui?

Sheyahni: What news?
He aha tē pānui?

Tim: That we’re going to Whangārei.
E haere ana mātou ki Whangārei

Sheyahni: When are we going?  
Ahea tā mātou haerenga?

Zach: On Thursday July the sixth.

Zach: On the bus.
Ka haere tatou ma  runga i te pahi.

Tim: Yes, Thats is how we get there.
Ae marika, tērā tā mātou haerenga.

Sheyahni: So does that mean we won the trip?

Zach: Yes, we did win the trip.
Ae, e hoa, ka toa mātou

Sheyahni: When we get there what are we going to do?

Waaka: Go to the Wave Pools

Zach: And have a picnic at the park.

Tim: After that we will all be coming back to school.
