  2. 1 in 9 people go hungry
  3. 21 million loaves of bread gets thrown away each year
  4. Every year kiwis send 122,574 tonnes of food to a landfill
  5. Kiwi households throw away 79kgs of chicken each year
  6. The average kiwi throws out three shopping trolleys full of food each year
  7. Compost puts important nutrients back in the ground
  8. browns + greens + air + water = compost
  9. Worms have five hearts
  10. Worms breath from their skin
  11. They’re hermaphrodite  
  12. Worms can eat their own body weight each day

    Bonjour Zechariah, It's Ciaran from (St Patricks in Greymouth). Very good facts, about Waste in New Zealand. Amazing work! Good facts, I like the fact of: Worms can eat their own body weight each day. But a tip: Use Full stops at the end of the facts.
